Family Experiences with Partners in Health
"Partners in Health has given us the tools to be empowered and to access what we needed when we moved to NH. Carmen was like a guardian angel - when we had needs she was there. Partners in Health is able to plug you in - that's why we are where we are today."
- Barbara of PIH in Manchester is the mother of an 18 year old son with neurological challenges who is now enrolled in college classes.
"When we first enrolled in Partners In Health our insurance company wasn't paying for all my child's diabetic supplies. I didn't want to ask for help, but I soon learned that PIH is a partnership. Lynne, the Family Support Coordinator, gave me the resources to meet our needs, and I was then able to tell others about the resources available."
Michelle is enrolled in Claremont PIH and is the parent of Ryan, who has had diabetes for several years. Ryan is doing well in self managing his diabetes.
